What is Kutsari?

The National Semiconductr Design Center- Kutsari focused on consolidating the integrated circuit (chip) design ecosystem in Mexico.  With a group of designers with more than 20 years of experience, coming from the industrial and academic fields, under the coordination of InnovaBienestar de Mexico.  Based in Mexico with key locations in Puebla, Jalisco and Sonora.

This initiative promotes the articulation between the academic sector, industry and government for the creation and operation of Design Centers, the development of ASIC-type projects, the connection with manufacturing processes and the specialized training.

Our medium-term goals are:

• Setting up a 100 IC designers design house by 2027.
• Strengthening the Academia-Industry collaboration.
• Achieving economic self-sustainability by 2028.
• Promote the creation of other design houses.
• Establish the conditions for the installation of a semiconductor factory by 2030.

We are aimed at foster the semiconductors supply chain in Mexico in support of the North American market, and we are actively seeking collaboration opportunities for the co-design of integrated circuits.
